Took a trip to PR's ville today on the WOD and learned something interesting from Steve on the Push Press.

The numbers were:
SP:130(PR)
PP:135(PR)
PJ:145(PR)

Definitely felt I had more for the Push Jerk but didn't want to jump the weight to much and fail. Considering on the PP and PJ those are already 20lb PR's I was happy. The thing i learned from Steve this morning was that you have to keep your heels rooted in the Push Press or you are doing a Mini-jerk and cheating the move 4-5" when you go up on your toes. Once i rooted my heels for it the move felt way stronger and 10 times more stable. Thanks for the lesson Steve!

Sorry everyone for no class tonight. Dang firefighters! Jason and I just got back into town from SLC.
Our wod for today:
Ski on fresh powder in one of the best resorts in Utah (Snowbird) with 3 kids and good friends. For time: 8 hours. No injuries.
It was brutal. :)

See some of you tomorrow am. Hoping to be there at 0930 to help train.
