~All workouts are scaled to each individual's skill level~

Our 6 week Zone Challenge II starts today! Weigh in at the gym today with one of the trainers. We can also take your measurements. (This info. is all confidential.) If you don't want do the Zone diet but you are changing your eating habits a different way that is great. We encourage you all to eat healthier in 2010! If your are not getting the results you want at the gym, you have to look at your diet.

The first week is usually the hardest so please use the blog to comment on how you are doing this week so we can all be a support for each other. Also feel free to post your favorite Zone snacks or recipes. Make a commitment to stick with it for at least 2 weeks, but we encourage you all to do it for 6 weeks. It becomes a lifestyle change and then it is easy to stay in the Zone. Change is always hard but it will be worth it.....we promise!
Good luck everyone and get ready to look and feel great!

Please click here to view this weeks schedule. We are short a couple of trainers this week so there are a couple of classes that have been canceled and Thursday will be a Rest Day for the gym.

Ok Nat, you got me thinking. HCG is so hard and it makes you tired and cranky. So I am going to do the 6 week zone challange starting today. I am really excited to start zoning again. I started my morning off with some eggs, and apples with peanut butter. The workout today was killer. My legs are so shaky. It felt good to get back in the gym.

Cami I am SOOOO Glad you are doing the Zone! Be really strict the first 2 weeks, really count your blocks and weigh and measure. You WILL get the results you want. With that being said, even being "strict" on the Zone is going to be easier then the HCG. Can't wait to see how you do on the diet. :)

Good luck everyone today! The first few days you may feel a little cranky, slight headaches, and maybe tired as you detox from the sugar. By the end of the week you should be feeling a lot better. STAY WITH IT!

My breakfast today: (measured out to 3 blocks of each) 2/3 c Oatmeal, 2 links Turkey sausage, 1 cup milk and 9 olives.

I did Natalies breakfast for my lunch. It was really good actually and very fast to make. I struggled this morning with breakfast. 2 cheese sticks and OJ. I love this idea of people posting what they are eating because that is where I struggle and get confused. I also love Jen(I believe) paper she typed up for us. Got my chicken yesterday at costco and going to be cooking it up tonight. Got my fish oil, vitamins, and calcium chews. I am ready!! Also I found Boar Heads deli meat at the Smiths in Lehi for all those that live this away. :) I am soooo excited for this.

Was feeling sick over the weekend, and weak today, so I didn't come in. :(

Mandy make sure that you are eating all of your blocks in the morning. If you are supposed to eat three blocks for breakfast what you ate today wasn't enough. 2 cheese sticks 2 blocks, OJ 1/3 cup is 1 block so you could drink 1 cup for 3 blocks. Then you are missing a block of protein and your fats. So that could be 1/2 teaspoon peanut butter 1 block, slivered almonds 1 teaspoon 1 block, walnuts 1/2 teaspoon 1 block. So you could do any one of these fats X 3 to get your total for a three block meal.

Everyone is coming in with a new determination for this new year and I think it is awesome. Posting on this blog our meals and meal plans will help everyone know better what we can eat and how much. It makes a huge difference when everyone is helping each other.

Dinner: 4 oz Rosemary chicken 4 blocks, 1 cup broccoli 1 block, 1 apple 2 blocks, 1 1/2 teaspoon peanut butter/soy butter. I still need one more block of carb.

Great job on the muscle-ups everyone I know today was a first for a lot of you so you really did well for just learning the movement.

Hey, another thing if you blow those pictures up of Sabrina and Angela they aren't even sweating. That WOD on Saturday was way too easy for them.

Jill!!!! That's it! I knew I was wrong. Yes I love those papers she typed up. I carry them everywhere with me. Jason sounds good about the breakfast. I was not prepared this morning.

Today's wod was a tough one for me. But I'm glad I came and did it. Me and squats don't go together. My legs are still burning.
I'm really excited to do the challenge again. I did really good today and I'm excited to keep seeing results with it.
