I know, I know, I know, that bench press is functional... but it is going to feel very weird during max bench press in a CrossFit gym. Maybe I should wear my "wife beater" tank top with a gold chain, and back belt so I match what you see in the Global Gym.

Trainers, can I do yesterday's wod today since I couldn't make it in this morning?
I'm thinking of going 70's big on this bench workout. I'm hoping that just maybe my chest hair will resemble some sort of fur rug like the picture in yesterday's post at some point in the near future.
My bad. . . .the picture was of the Hall of Fame Doug Young on 70sbig.com. Either way. . . .very very impressive. I wonder what he feeds it to get it to grow that aggressively.

Wow! Bench pressing for the first time in about 3 years! Good times...good times. I would be "remiss", however, if I didn't mention that my best (at age 47) was a bit better than some of the younger guns that I won't mention by name (Justus, Steve & Jeremy). It was a lot of fun, though. :0)
By the way, 210 was the mark. Not bad for an old guy, but my middle aged "man boobs" are hurting something fierce...

What... I was wondering the same thing Natalie if it was him. Why do you say that??? Because I walked in the room the other night and he got off the website really fast. And I did not let him know I saw, but then it popped in my head... what if it is Will.
I went to a fit class yesterday at work and the professor had some funny pics that he showed us. He is going to email them to me and then I will email them to you. ha ha ha They will make funny pics for your blog.
Phantom, be careful you don't cross any lines. It can be a dangerous world out there. It might be best to just stay in the dark and unknown. No Natalie I am not the phantom.

By the way, I overheard some Viking Crossfitters talking about me today. Be careful what you say...I'm always listening from the bowels of VCF. I also must admit (to Natalie) that the bathroom on the left is slightly cleaner- but only "slightly". Don't get too excited with my endorsement of your throne. Coming in first place between those two cans is nothing to write home about.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I guess there's no way to prove it, but it wasn't me.
Someone else used my "schtick" to make an inappropriate remark about someone at VCF. That really is disappointing. Whoever it was should come forward and apologize. At least privately to Mandy and Will.
Anyway, I guess this "Phantom act" has gone from fun to unfortunate in a hurry.
I'll end it with this post. I'm truly sorry someone thought it would be appropriate to post something like that and attach it to me.
