He is survived by his wife Nicole and his daughter Zarine.

Ok-Just a reminder on how lame globo gyms are...I went to Gold's gym this am because I only had 30min do a quick warm up and get a wod in, plus I didn't want to disturb Cody's class this am at Viking.
I did 7 Rds- 21 shoulder press and 21 back extensions. I used 45# (womens RX is 55#) because I couldn't find any 2.5 plates to do 50# (it would have taken me too long to do 55#). Then I had to find a spot to do my SP and back extensions. The back extension machines are a joke there. By round 3 or 4 I was too anoxic to remember how many rounds I did. My pukie-o-meter was only about a 3, on a scale of 1-10, so I figured I had about 4 more. So I busted out 4 more. Looking back, I'm pretty sure I did eight rounds. Ugh! Then a older lady stopped me in my last set of back extensions to ask me how to use the machine and to help her. Good grief. I told her I was a trainer at a real gym and told her the equipment there sucked. Then I tried to help her do back extensions on the piece of crap machine.
Anyway...my time was 33:01 which is actually slower then my last time because of stupid Gold's. Can't wait to go to my gym tomorrow! :)

P.S. Still didn't feel pukie after 8 rounds either :0

Wow!! I'm glad I don't work at "Globo" gym!!!
This morning I got to attend a super excellent class t'day tutored by Cody, with all the equipment I needed to complete my WOD!!

So, I'm finally back after a week vacation, and let me tell you... IT SUCKED! I now have a love/hate relationship with breaks.

Wow, this one was a killer. I started w/ 30 lbs on the DB split cleans and by the 3rd rnd I had to switch to 25 lbs. Really anything w/ 5 rnds sucks, but especially after having a break. My hands ripped really really bad this time, both hands... the worst yet. However, on Friday I ran up the "Rocky" stairs in Philly!! That was my WOD for the day, besides walking all around Philly, and then walking around ALL DAY in NY on Saturday. So, I got my "runs" in for a good week, I think that counts... so, no runs please?? :) For those of you who haven't been to NY you need to go. I had a blast!! I was thinking of all of you fire fighters at ground zero (which was amazing by the way) and am thankful for all you do! I'll have to show you some pics.
Anyway, thanks to Mandy and Will for staying after their WODs to cheer me on!! It really helped. Plus I think Will wanted to rub it in my face that he's better than me! Then, Mandy had to get mad at me for checking out her hubby's behind last week! Wow, it's great to be back! See you all on Wednesday!

This was a bear. A fitting WOD for a hero. If your technique is off on the cleans it will definitely affect your pull ups. By the end my grip was shot! Mandy did an awesome job on her WOD. It's a dream come true to have her CF'ing with me. I'm pretty stoked about it.
Truth be told I enjoy the little competition with ya Tessa. But we both know it's rare that I'm able to beat ya! Your form was rock solid the whole time while my cleans had that flopping fish look by the end. I stayed cuz I knew you would give a motivating performance. You didn't disappoint. That was so motivating i had to stop myself from picking you up on my shoulder. Figured you had enough "Rocky" moments for the week.;)
I've said it before but a huge thanks to all the trainers at Viking. You all make it a pleasure to be tortured! Man my posts keep getting longer and longer. What can I say the Kool-aid just keeps getting sweeter.

Natalie, I am so sorry about your morning. I guess you could also just blame it on "Monday". Mondays are heck!! Tessa welcome back! You did awesome and are my idol. Jenny and Kaleb also did excellent to. Way to go!
I was not able to watch Will because I was to busy trying to focus. (plus I don't want to make his head any bigger) lol kidding you rocked also! Cody made a WOD up for me so I could still baby my shoulder.(It only hurts to lift arm over head)
