Went in at noon with the intention of doing the squat cleans but after some discussion with Dave I went with the Thruster WOD of
1-1-1-1-1-1-1 reps

135,145,145,145(F)135,135,145 + 135x3

I think I can do 155 but I have a little glitch in my form that comes out more as the weight increases. When I would focus on that something else would get a little out of whack and I would lose a little power and or momentum. But I like to think that if I can get 135 three times in a row at the end I should be able to get 155 once. If that's not the case don't tell me just leave me be in Wonderland.
So good heavy day that turned into a good skills day too. Thanks Dave!
Tessa- Nice pics from "Elizabeth" on the blog. It's obvious to me that you could do 95#!

Well, I've been out for a few days and was excited to get back to it tonight. Like Will:
Thrusters 1-1-1-1-1-1-1
105, 105, 105, 100, 100, 105, 105
I was pretty excited about the weight! Kuddos to you men that do 95# for Fran, I couldn't do it! The one thing that bugged me most was having to go down in weight for a couple. I would over compensate with my back and my form would get all screwed up. After a few, I was feelin pretty good though!
Hey is there a class tomorrow night? I didn't see one posted and would love to have one if anyone can:)
Thanks for the pics Nat... yikes on the face in the first one! I was pullin some funny ones tryin to get that weight up! Boy do I have a love/hate relationship with those squat cleans!

So sad I could not make it tonight! I am still sick. It is now in my chest. I am hoping I can still do this WOD. I want to see if I am any different then last time. Will it be possible to do it? And I am with Tessa as long as I can breath I want to come in tomorrow night before I have to take Marian to cheer. I don't want to get far behind like I did last time. But if tomorrow night there is no class then that is one more day of rest before Wednesdays big night. :) okay I am done with my whiney book. lol

Tessa- I know what you mean. I had to drop some weight too so I could get my form back and then go back up. That's the nice thing about having a trainer right there watching. It's nice to have somebody to critique your form on each one so you can correct it.
Nice weights you were putting up. Pretty impressive. Dave was telling me I should start doing Fran with 95#. While it would be nice to do Fran as rx'd the idea of that many 95# thrusters makes me pee my pants a little bit!

Tills- Dude you are crazy strong! That's why I call you the King. You are far above my level Mr 995 CF Total! Pffft! 995#, I only dream of moving that much weight.
