My top ten.....
1) At our gym, everyone knows your name, and everyone is pushing you and encouraging you to do your best. Never had that happen at Gold's.
2) You can always do one more rep!!!!
3) If the wod on the board looks easy,Be afraid!
4) Butterflies in the stomach before each wod.
5) It never get's easier....you just get better.
6) I feel so good!
7) I get to see Crossfit literally change people's lives 8) I can do things now that I never thought I could...both in and out of the gym
9) I have an amazing new group of friends!

I got this idea from Lalanne fitness and everyone posted their top 5 things about their gym. It was fun to read. So I want to hear from all of you at our gym.
I swear we just did front squats... oh MAN!!! My legs are hurting just thinking about them now; boo hoo :( I'll have to post my top reasons lata - when I'm not crying about my sore legs!
Sounds like there was quite a few people at the gym this am...I missed out! I'm at work today at the hospital...missed ya'll! All of you who are new to the gym have been making amazing progress the past few weeks...great job. Keep it up! Welcome back Angie and Matt...we've missed you!
1. LOVE all of the support of my crossfit peeps! 2. Crossfit helps me to feel empowered and strong while being pregnant. Especially when I feel like a fatty walking into the gym...I feel like a sexy beast walking out :) 3. I love the education of health and fitness that I get EVERYDAY, along with the feeling of accomplishment.
I LOVE... 1. ...my CrossFit FAMILY and getting to know new people :) 2. ...seeing the results even still! 3. ...how I still get sore, and am learning something new every time I come to the gym. 4. ...feeling like I'm gonna DIE after almost every WOD. 5. ...feeling like I'm gonna puke my guts out but never actually do. 6. ...how I STILL get butterflies before Fran or any bench mark WOD for that matter or a heavy lifting day. 7. ...feeling so mentally strong; and actually being able to do more than I thought. 8. And FINALLY...feeling like I can talk trash cause I'm a BA and could kick YOUR butt! (hahaha, this one just makes me laugh) You know, there are more, but I'll spare you the greif of reading through them :) I'm OBSESSED with CrossFit! Today I did front squats... ended up only getting 140 x1 on my last round. Then I did a WOD with Jason to see if it'd be a good one to have everyone do... box jumps, pull ups, and DB hang clean and jerks. That's all I'm sayin :) I think Jason decided to change it up a bit... but you all shall soon see! :) Everyone else did "totally awesome" this morning! I love watching people on heavy days! So AWESOME! Well, I'm gonna have to take a rest day tomorrow... but hopefully the posting gods will post a class for Wednesday night so I can come :) Off to work I go for the night :)
So, I finally got to do "Karen". 7:14 rx. Ok, I forgot how much she sucks, and I don't know why I was so excited to do this wod. But I'm glad I did it and I'm glad it's over. Phew! Nice job tonight Kevin, Mandy and Melanie. And it was nice to meet Cody's bro-in-law! Melanie and Kevin were doing front squats and Mandy rocked "Karen" while I was there. Nice work!
As Natalie said... Last minute I decided to do the Karen WOD today. I am glad I did. I did it as RX for my first time. I used the 15# ball. I added a minute and a half on my time using the 15# ball the whole time. Anyway, my time was 12:21. I really do like this WOD even though it kicks my trash! Melanie and Kevin did awesome to! Since I know Kevin won't post I will announce he got a PR. And Melanie is coming along on her form and how well she is doing. Will kicked butt on his to. As far as 3 things..... 1) Confidence that has come from Crossfit 2) Losing weight and Gaining muscle 3) Making new friends 4) Never loved something that HURT so much And as a added note I am so GLAD that Will got me into doing crossfit. It has been the best thing ever for me. And I never thought in a million years that I would be at where I am at today.
Umm top three reasons why I like Viking eh? Well,,, 1-Everybody tolerates my occasional potty mouth. 2- I don't get teased to much about my skinny get-away sticks. 3- Everybody lets me think I'm kind of a big deal. :) There's other reasons I'm sure but since you just wanted the top three. Did the front squats today but just felt weak. Wasn't feeling to strong mentally or physically today. Sub par performance today frankly.
Ok so I'm still pretty new to whole crossfit phenomenon... 1. I really enjoy all the support. It really helps Guys, Thanks. 2. I'm actually starting to leave with some energy ang feelin jazzed through out the day. I Don't want to go home and passout for the rest of the day. 3. I actually get excited to work out.. WIERD

I did front squats today. I got up to 195 2x. I have to get to 225 to get to a 225# clean and jerk some day. Nest time the goal is 205.
It was really fun to watch some of the people today doing front squats for the first time. Cynthia and Alissa did awesome.
It was really cool to hear that Matt and Angie came in today. Welcome back guys.

p.s. Mandy had awesome form on "Karen" tonight. She was doing full squats, butt to the ball with each rep...most impressive!!!!
