Hike/Run up to the Y

or
Run a 5k today

Click here for directions to trailhead. If weather does not permit, meet at the gym.
If you can't make it for the hike, run a 5k today. A long distance run is a great wod and can be done anywhere. It's also great practice for our 5K run we are all doing on June 13. :)

I just have no desire to do this so unlike Natalie who actually has an excuse, ie kids, I simply won't be there. But have fun and work hard, which you don't even have to try because the thing is just so steep and horrible!

I probably shouldn't admit this, but last time I hiked the Y I couldn't make it to the top!

Btw - as of this morning, I am back to my pre-crossfit weight! I think the backs of my arms are starting to look better. Muscle IN, fat OUT!

Natalie- the silver dress is for a black tie awards ceremony next Friday. I'm a finalist, I lost the last two years, I hope I win this year because my dress gas a little train on it and I want to walk up to the stage with it trailing behind me! I know, I'm such a nerd, but I can't help it!

Man....you guys are ALWAYS doing fun stuff! I would be there in a heartbeat, but I have to think about "another" little heartbeat....YOU BETTER DO THIS AGAIN, when I'm NOT pregnant!!!

I love the speeding stories...our men in uniform R.O.C.K.!

OK all you land luvin polly wogs! WTF!!!
We had 4 people there this morning. ME, Dave, Rocky and my 12 year old daughter Kiah. Yes my twelve year old ran with us! Well, for at least a little bit and I know I didn't run the whole thing. In fact I think I stopped after the first turn. That was BRUTTLE on the calves! The point is WE MADE IT ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP!!!
Dave had so much energy afterwards he hiked it again with his family. Yes, his little kids hiked it as well.
For those of you who chose to stay home this morning I hope you had a nice 5K run instead.

I can now add yet another excersize to my repetoir of GOATS that just keep growing. Great workout Dave! I am deeply humbled by your physical superiority over my week little legs.

I hope you all have a great weekend and we will see you at the gym.

"Y" Hill climb PR @ 21min and change.

VikingCF- it has been a pleasure & an honor to have trained with & been coached by you guys.I can honestly say that my growth as a crossfitter can be attributed to outstanding coaching & the moral support i've experienced with you.Thank you VERY much.
I decided to do "BULLET PROOF" BKA "MURPH" as my final WOD since the Naval SPECWAR community in Cali are doing a fundraiser...the last time took 54:52 with no vest. Today i did it in 48:29 with a 20# vest. in my mind, you were there pushing me...Again, it's been an honor.

Darrell,
It was a pleasure working with you as well! You are very motivational and you helped me get back into the intensity required by Crossfit. This isn't good bye is it? Surely you are going to come into the gym and do one last WOD with us?

Nice job on Murph!! 20# makes a big difference. Let me know when you are coming into the gym and I will make sure I am there if possible. We need to do Fran one more time since you have the gym record.
