I was wishing i had more crossfit firefighter friends tonight. I had a kitchen fire that was started by a ziploc bag if you can believe that! I'm still a little shaken up. According to the internet the correct way to have put it out is to put a lid or a pot over the fire?

Kate, I am so sorry, that is so scary! A wet kitchen towel would have worked too, it would smother the fire. I hope you are ok. Let us know if you need anything. Maybe running a 5k on June 13 would help you feel better. :)

Hey!! I found a crossfit gym less then a mile away from our apt! Its fun... I miss you guys though! I did karen on tuesday and got 6:01! I was pretty excited about it.... and then we did 6 100 meter sprints yesterday and I sucked air big time! ha.. you know how much I love running! anyways... HAVE FUN and don't miss me too much! :)

48mph! Shame on Jason. :) They other day we saw two Orem police officers pulled over in front of Timp High School, Jason sped up and they both looked up and where like "What the ?" I'm surprised they didn't jump in their cars because it was pretty obvious he was being a smart a@#! I don't even think they saw the plates. Was that you too? So glad we have connections. :)
You and Phill stay safe out there. We appreciate what you do to keep us all safe.

Today's wod was hard! Full squat cleans and HSPU= 14:20. Have fun on your hike tomorrow, wish I could be there but I have 2 soccer games and a little league game. :)
I heard the women's class was fun this am too.

so doing the modified HSPU were hard. I fell like 4 times, the first time, just about ripped my ear off and Erick just laughed at me :) But by the end of round 7, I was fast enough to tuck my should in and roll to my back. It was quite the scene and skill I must say. Today was hard, I'm glad Erick made me do those push ups instead of reverting to the floor push ups.

The only reason he didn't pull you over was he would have had to put down one of the two doughnuts he was eating in order to grab the steering wheel.
