Basic Movements Class 0800 (for new members who have signed up and paid.)
Group Wod 0900
The Basic Movements class is for all new clients. This class is for new clients that have paid and signed up to be a member of the gym. Please try to attend if you have not been through a basic movement class yet.
If you are coming in to try out the gym for the first time, or if you have not officially signed up yet, there is a group wod you can come to at 0900.

The basic movements class went great this morning everyone picked up the movements really quick. We had a lot of really good athletes to work with. We ran a little late and the 9:00 am class started showing up.
We had a great turn out for the 9:00 am class. It is always hard to program the team WODs for Saturday because is all depends on who, and how many show up. So I hope everyone had a good time. We also had two first timers to Viking show up. Thanks for coming in Kristi and Derrick.
The WOD. 21-15-9
45# thrusters men
25# thrusters women
pull-ups
box jumps
rest.
each team had to man a station because there were 4 per team. One person rest. You could not change stations until everyone finished every rep. After your team finished all 21-15-9, the team had to combine to finish a 2500 meter row. Both teams were within 2 to 3 minutes of each other. They were very competative and it was fun to watch. See you next week. Get a good rest in everyone.
I ended up doing yesterdays WOD with Will today. It has been a crazy week. Where I hurt my back on those push jerks I did a light weight. I did 45 push jerks and a 26.4 KB. (only one we have) Will pushed me right through it. Time was 8:06. I would like to do this one again when back is healed that way I can try a heavier weight. This morning sounded fun but sleep sounded better at the time. lol
