Can't think of anything much better than a WOD to start the year off right. Count me in.

Oh and the rope burns on my shins and between my legs will heal. It also only took 15 minutes after the WOD before I could grip my steering wheel from them rope climbs.

Great way to get back after a week off.

I really love Diane I did sumo deadlifts strict handstand pushups in 7:30. This was the first time I was able to get through the deadlifts without breaking. Handstands were a different story though.

The 6 am class was great. Everyone was really fast and lifting heavy weight.

I encouraged everyone this am to challenge themselves and use a weight they could lift at least 5 times. Everyone stepped up and really pushed themselves. We have some stellar athletes! Make sure to STRETCH today really good after the wod, especially your back. You are going to feel these deadlifts tomorrow.

I'm down for a New Year's WOD.

We missed today's WOD. I really wanted to do it so I can compare my times from last time we saw Diane. Can I come in and do it during the 9:30 class, then the regular WOD during one of the evening classes? I hate skipping WOD's, especially since I really need to prepare for the Crossfit Challenge!

So, this was one of my very first WODs when I started training at Viking and I did it Rx'd but with a miserable time of 14:32. Today I did it Rx'd and got 7:50. CrossFit works and our trainers are the best.

Less than 2 weeks until the CrossFit Challenge.

Way to go Wade! It is so exciting to see your progress and a PR by a mile.....Congrats! You deserve it. Our VCF tshirts will be here this week and the sweatshirts will be ready by the Challenge. Sweatshirts will be around $35-40. They are going to be really cool.

Way to go night crew on Diane. It is so fun to see so many of you doing handstand push-ups...and that includes most of the women!
It was fun to work with all of you today.

On another note...due to weather and different schedule issues....we have to cancel the 6am class tomorrow. So sorry. We added a 6am class on Thursday and a 10am class on New Year's day. Hope that helps.
