Is CrossFit hard?

Now what do you think is harder?

Basic Movements class this Saturday at 10 am. This class is mandatory for all new clients (clients who have paid and signed up as a new member of the gym,) to come learn the basic movements of Crossfit. There are several of you who need to attend this class. If you cannot make it please let one of the trainers know so we can make other arrangements with you.
If you are coming in to try out the gym for the first time you are welcome to come to the group wod at 0900.

We are all going to have blisters on our blisters after this WOD. Pull ups and K2Es in the same WOD, oh have mercy.

Just a recommendation, if you don't have some already, stop by Wal-Mart and buy some athletic tape and tape your hands for this one.

Other than that, this is going to be a fun WOD!

Read our article on "Hand Care" in the left column. It has great info on how to take care of your hands. And yes, tape is your friend. We can show you how to tape up your hands real nice.

In regards to the tape comment. The problem is there are so many different types there and most of them are too sticky and leave a residue on your hands. Johnson and Johnson or Mueller are the two brands I would recommend.
For all the classes that don't start before 12pm, you can go into Hansen's shop(the shop next door) and get a very high quality tape. It's a little more than you would pay other places, but the quality is well worth it.

Big 5 Has tons!! It does not leave the sticky stuff behind. They have tons of color. I got Hot Pink. They are pretty big rolls for $3.00. Or you can buy in 6 packs. Just another idea.

Erick is planning on going to sectionals. I will be going up as well to cheer him on. The workout today looks painful for the hands. Today is my rest day so I won't be experiencing the pain today. See you tomorrow morning.

It was gonna be a rest day for me, but I think I want to do this. Hey if I got some people from work that want to sign up and go with us is that okay?(Wells Fargo Climb) I know Becca is signing up tomorrow and so am I.

Erick that's great! Ok, if you're not doing Tackle the Tower then you should be at the sectionals cheering Erick on! It's always nice to have support and someone cheering you on in those dark moments of a tough wod. :) I'll be posting the link to the sectionals tonight.

Mandy, Becca and I were wanting to sign up to do Tackle the Tower tomorrow. But if we are going to do it at the same time with you and Jason and anybody else that wants to join us how do we go about doing it so we all get to go together?
