And once again it's 9ish o'clock and I'm checking for the WOD. I think the adrenaline rush from checking helps me sleep at night.

Bring on the pain.

I've been looking for Erick on this video the past couple of days, can anyone see him?????

I think he is in the background towards the very end. The foreground is a guy with a gray shirt/black shorts doing muscle ups. Look for the backwards hat.

Dave is also in it a couple of times judging.

Tackle Tower was a lot of fun!! I want to do it over again next year. Go up a couple of times. The awesome thing about it was, it was not as hard as I thought it was going to be. My legs felt fine and still have not become sore. It was my breathing that was bad. I forgot inhaler!! So a nice attack half way up did not help. And I was not about to use their flavored oxygen. lol But that is okay next year I will have it tied around neck. And hopefully they will have air on at the top next year and not mess up on mine in Melanies times. Lot's of laughs that day. 3 years ago when I said I wanted to do this, I never thought it would really happen. Thanks to Crossfit I it happened. And now that I know what it is like I am gonna get prepared for it next year and go up several times :)

I have to admit it was a good experience to be a judge for Sectionals. I learned a whole lot about the competitions and how they are very strict in the motions and what is needed to finish the exercises. Erick was by far at the top with form and adherence.

Again congratulations to Erick in the competition! He put in an amazing effort even though he was under the weather.

I had a moment to talk with Tommy Hackenbruck before the final 4 heats of the Sectionals and he asked me to be the judge for the #1 spot in each of the heats. My goal in judging was just to be able to be close to the action and be fair. It was an amazing experience to be in the middle of it with unrestricted access.

Being a judge is very hard work. I was on my feet running for over two hours at a time multiple times on Saturday.

One last note that has nothing to do with the Sectionals. I got to where I can consistently do a muscle up today. I did a total of 11 this morning before the workout. I'll need to put a lot more effort in to get to where I can pull off a strict one, but finally after 7 months of trying I'm getting the motion.
