That's it... I am straight Zone.

That's the only thing I can think of.

Wade, if you go strict with the Zone, weigh and measure your food, eat favorable carbs, fat, and protein...you WILL see a difference in your wods. You will feel better and perform better. I can't wait to see what happens. And now that you announced it, you have to do it. :) After the Cert. you would have wanted to try it anyway. Good luck!

Don't forget everyone...diet is essential in losing weight, feeling better and performing better as an athlete.

So, since it is my job to entertain mostly, I thought you would enjoy this funny. A while ago I showed my husband the Nasty Girls video. So today he asked me if I had my “nasty-up” yet. I told him it was called a muscle-up and not yet…

Goodnight all. lina

I think that is a good nick name for them Lina a Nasty-up. That describes them very well.

Also I love how in our pictures of the 5 k everyone is smiling. Everyone was having a good time and it showed.

Lina...too funny! That is hilarious. :0

To answer the question on the today's blog...I think my favorite workout is "Helen". What is yours everyone? It doesn't have to be a benchmark.

In my short experience, I really liked Annie. Fitting, no?

Since we're recommitting, I need to do better at the zone again. We were really good for about 2 1/2 weeks, but after getting strep last week, I've kind of fallen off the wagon. Granted, I'm not eating crap, but I'm not eating the right balance.

My favorite one is Annie also. I'm sure there is a few other ones but I can't think of them right now.

hmmmmm I will have to think of my favorite one. Melanie I am glad you are doing well and loving it!! I have seen a huge difference in you also.

Okay so Natalie said the other day I should explain what a CPAT is for those that do not know what it is. Now correct me firefighters if I am wrong. I am just gonna explain what I know. You have 10 minutes to get this done in to become a firefighter(physical test part). First you start out on the stair climb with a 75# vest on. They set the timer for 3 minutes. You can not touch the hand rails or you are out. Once you have completed it they take 25# off your vest and you finish the rest with a 50# vest on. (I am not sure the feet or distance on the rest but it is long lol) You grab a hose and run with it to a barrel then around to a square. You then get on your knees and pull that hose over your shoulder. Then you go to a stand where two saws are. Take one off at a time and put them on the floor. Pick them both up walk down to the cone, around and back. Put back up on shelf one at a time. Then there is the 170# dummy drag. You drag him to the cone and back around. Then there is a sledge hammer and you hit this metal thing until it goes all the way in and beeps.(took will like 4 hits and me like 10) Then there are two ladders. One you have to pick up from the ground and set up against wall. The other you have to grab this rope and pull ladder up to ceiling and then back down. (can't drop it) Then there is this tunnel that is black inside. You have to crawl through it and there are different objects in the way and then there are times you are crawling on your belly. Then you are given a hook and you go over to this metai ceiling, you have to push it all the way up 3 times. Then move over and hook your hook on this loop and pull the ceiling down 5 times. (4 rounds) Then you are done and can fall on the floor and try not to die. The stair climb was the part I hated the most. And you have to start out with that. And then with that 50# vest on I felt like I could not get a good deep breath. I am gonna do this again in several months when they set it back up. See if I can knock off some time and learn some technique on the different things. If you want to see the different things you can check out the pictures on my facebook.(hopefully put on blog soon) Okay done with the book. (excuse all tyepo's at work and had to hurry)

Lina, I love it!!!! Nasty-Up's!

I had the chance to help out with a CPAT session while I was in the fire academy and there were two guys that quit half way through, one girl that quit on the stair climber and another guy that passed out on the last event. It's a tough test and Mandy did awesome!!!!

Lina, I Love it! Nasty-Up sounds WAY more fun than a Muscle Up!!!! I might be able to do one!
As for my favorite work-out? At my age, I can't remember what any of them are. I just know they are all hard & difficult to do. I'm just happy when I can make it through them. My favorite thing is getting to the gym, making it through the WOD, and feeling a sense of accomplishment for the rest of the day. Thanks, CrossFit Trainers!
