This story is so sad. To be killed by sniper fire in your own neighborhood! It makes me so mad. We will be thinking of you tomorrow Ryan, as we do this wod. Rest in peace.

Am I so naive that I find this story incomprenhensible? EVERYone in the line of duty-please be safe.

08/10/08:
5 Rounds for time:
Run 200m (yes, me running)
65# Thrusters-10 reps
40# Db swing-10 reps
21.something

081009:
SQ: 1x20@125#
PR: 3x5@85#
PC: 3x3@110#

The 20 rep. squat is a joy! I try to do it every 3-4 weeks and go up 15# each time. It's so brutal but awesome.
I struggled with the 5th rep on each press, big F on those.
PC progression all in the head, form fairly easy, just get it up!

Hope everyone at Viking is getting stronger by the day!!!!!

I did the five round barbell wod today because I told everyone I worked with yesterday I was going to do it. I did it as prescribed and it took me 39:57. Dang me that was so freak'n hard. 40 minutes of hell. My hands are shredded. Rest day tomorrow looking forward to doing some hero wods in the next few days.

Like Jason I did the 5 round barbell wod. I subbed 95# for it and still got my butt trashed.I think my time was 24:53. I had all the trainers there with me which was good cuz I got alot of input prior to the WOD on the Hang Power Cleans which I struggle with.
Had Steve right there coaching me the whole time. Thanks Steve I needed it!
I am so glad to this WOD done. In case nobody has noticed I've been crying about it for a few days. :)
Awesome job to Jason, Nat and Steve who all did WODs while I was there. We gots us some bad dudes/dudettes training us!

Nice job today Will! I knew you would kick butt on it! Your form looked great and you looked strong throughout. You are a BACF (bad a@# Crossfitter) :)
Jason did awesome on the same wod. Looked really Strong! His hands are thrashed!
I did "Ryan" today. I did 7 rowing MU and 21 burpees, 5 rounds: 16:41. The burpees weren't too bad, just wish I could have done the MU. I think it would have been a lot harder then it was.

Nice job this am Travis, Blake, and Sweed. Sounds like you all did great!

Okay... I actually made it in today when I said I would. So glad I did. Cody was great and gave me lots of tips. You learn something new everytime. The only sad thing was I was not able to do the WOD today. Last nights work out I pulled a muscle in my left shoulder. Cannot lift it at all. But I did not let that stop me. Cody told me to do a 1/2 Michael. So it was 3 rounds, 400 meter run, 25 back extensions, and 25 situps. Did it in 20:28. Now my body is wiped out. Loved it! Thanks Cody!! :)
