HALLOWEEN WOD

Don't worry, it won't be too scary....

Bring a friend in tomorrow for a group workout.
You will need a partner. Come anyway if you can't find one.

Wow! Will and Mandy throwing up PR's all over the place last night! Whoo hoo! Isn't it so cool to see yourself progress and get stronger? The CFT total is pretty cool because it is a valid measure of strength and progression. Nice job everyone yesterday. See you all Saturday. Have a spooky Halloween wod! Maybe Cody will wear his speedo for Halloween. :) Oh, and Tills too.

Elizabeth today
21-15-9
Cleans-subbed 115#
Ring dips

Time 15:54

Very happy with my time and weights. Last time I did this was in May or June (can't decipher my own handwriting) and my time was 19:46 subbing 95#. So that's a pretty good improvement in my eyes. I'm not saying 115# is light now but it's feeling lightER. Starting to feel like 95# used to feel to me.
It has really been proven to me over the last week or so that it's imperative (oooh, big word) to do the heavy days. If you push hard on the heavy days, using weights that are outside of your comfort zone it really pays big dividends. I've been able to set PR's in a number of WODs since I quit cherry picking just the metcon WODs and avoiding the heavy days. Keep in mind that's just my observations, I'm not an expert by any stretch of the imagination. I'll get off the soapbox! :)
Was hoping for more people this morning but on the plus side I got some good one on one with Cody. Can't complain about that. So thanks to Cody for the advice and motivation.
Looking forward to tomorrow morning (I think), hopefully it's a big group.

Nice job Will! You are making GREAT progression! You are right, heavy days are IMPERATIVE! You and Steve have proven that these last 2 weeks.
I will see you all tomorrow am- hope a lot of you show up for a FUN wod.

I did angie today and it really wasn't worth timing because we were all using the same pull up bar. I had the whole crew, all five doing the WOD together. That was awesome.
