Looks like you guys had a fun Team wod this am. I got to the gym right after you guys left, sorry I missed all the fun. Nice work!

While Steve was getting PR's all over the place with his CFT I struggled with my snatches. It just goes to show how important heavy days are! Do not miss or skip out on the heavy days. Those days pay off. I will take my own advice now and work on my weakness until it becomes my strength.

Have a great weekend everyone! Nat

Probably not a fast time, but it sure made butter of me.
Sounds like the heavy days have payed off for Steve in new PR's!!
Nice job!

I've been following the main site WOD for a few months now with no 'cherry picking' of my workouts. Today did CFT and really felt strong. I set new PR's for every lift.

Deadlift 260; Up from 255
Shoulder Press 125; up from 115
Back Squat 235; up from 225

So my CFT is 620 (up from 595)

Earlier this year I was not following the WOD, just trying to program my own routine. I stopped progressing almost immediately. My last CFT was lower than my PR by 30 points. Following the programming has lead to real gains I can feel and measure. So the take home message is: 1. Go to the gym whether you feel like it or not. 2. Do the WOD that is posted, scaled as neccesary (but not too easy). 3. Give it everything you have, and don't quit.

Hope that wasn't too preachy. Is it fast sunday?
