A Clarification (just in case..) Yesterday's comment on the "SICK puppies"....The puppies were the muscular arms, and the SICK is good, as in awsome... Anywho, t'day I was down w/ Nicole. 400m run & max rep pullups 20 Min AMRAP: 6 rounds Reps: 12/10/10/10/8/6...The rec center pu bar in track area not good for kipping, so mostly strick pullups (there my gay excuse for lame #'s) I's gona say that "La Patota" better bring double shin guards...cause its gotta hurt w/ people like Jason, Nat, Steve, Dave and Tessa kickin'em!!!
Hey Tills- I took the "sick puppies" comment as a compliment! Tessa and I were trying to take everyone to the gun show! :) Did "Helen" today at the gym as Rx= 10:38 PR. Next time sub 10. Nice job Tills on your wod. And nice job today Dave on "Jason". See some of you tonight! Natalie P.S. I have watched the FF video at least 10 times. Firefighters are pretty hot!
BTW- As far as the picture goes... My elbows are up and in good rack position, squat pretty good, but I am looking up way to high. My head should be in a neutral position, looking straight ahead. That goes for all lifts.
Pretty lame tonight. Did back squat... ha ha, and I told Dave wrong, oops :) Anywho, I don't even want to post my weights... maybe next time! Till's thanks for the sweet comment, Natalie may be ready for the gun show, but I need a little more time! I love puppies by the way ;) ha ha! Well, I feel like I might be coming down with something so we'll see if I make it in the AM! Good night all!
Hey you guys rock, love the new blog. Thanks for the congrats on FGB.
Regarding what you're doing wrong the head thing was dead on but it looks like a dynamax ball doesn't actually get you below parallel. I'd ditch the ball and stack a few bumpers so your hip crease broke the plane of your knee. It's hard to tell in this pic but I'm guessing your knees might not be tracking over your toes. If that's true I'd widen your stance a little and try to spread the ground with your feet.
