We are getting together a group to do the Wasatch Back Relay
run in June. We need 12 people. If you are interested let us know
ASAP. We need to collect the fees and sign up right away. This
relay gets filled up fast. Will has done it and says it's a lot of fun.

I thought I had a night shift at the college on Tuesday but looks like it was Monday night so I'll miss the fun. But that means I'll be around for Tuesday night which I'm guessin will be Fran if we're still going off the main page.

Believe me when I tell you that you won't regret doing the Wasatch. I've done it the last four years and LOVE it. You won't run a race that's as much fun as the Wasatch Back. I'll be starting the CF Endurance WODs in about a month to get ready for it.

Well today...how can I say... I sucked. I did the shoulder press, and I did 115-125-135 then failed 155 twice- 135. and I couldn't get 145- failed 135-125.
I am just pissed at myself for not getting stronger. It however was nice to be back in the gym after a near 2 week absence. Brooke and Tessa did "Nate" and rocked it! Good job girls.
Justin- We all know how you feel! Somedays you get a PR by 5-10 lbs. Then other days you stay the same or sometimes even go down on the weight. That's just how it is sometimes so don't get discouraged! Also, you've been gone for a while and that makes a difference. Glad you're back! You rock as Goalie! We need you and Brooke so we hope you can make it this Saturday!

Okay! So I showed up tonight in jeans thinking I would come support Tessa because she was going to do Nate by herself. Little did I know Cody would say oh you can do shoulder press in jeans. Glad I did.... 55#,65#,65#,65#,70#,70#,70# It was a good work out to do jeans in! Tessa convinced Brooke to do Nate. So I was able to cheer them both on! lol They did great. And Justin you did great! But I am going to have to call you Will Jr for throwing weights. hee hee! Everyone Rocks, Rocks, Rocks! Oh and Nat, I find out results tomorrow. Fingers Crossed! I will let you know as soon as I know.
Mandy- you were able to do SP with your shoulder problems??? You DIE HARD! Keep me posted on your X-ray results. nat

I was pretty stoked to do this one as prescribed... Cody had me scared cause I was convinced the as rx'd for women was 1 pood KB, but then he was tellin me it was 1.5 pood... anyway, I did 1 pood so if that 's not rx'd, it should be :) I'll just have to do it again if that's not it:)
Well, I convinced Brooke to do it with me and she did AWESOME!!! I'll let her post her stuff.
Let me just tell you... Mandy ROCKS!!! She came in just to support and then ended up doing SP. Thanks MANDY!! :)
Justin also did great despite was he says :) Oh, and easy on the weights... we don't need another Will chuckin things around... he he!
Thanks Cody for pushin us along... even if you were tryin to get in my head about the 1.5 pood ordeal!
PS, I'm excited for Fran, even if I have to do it Wednesday by myself since I'm supposed to work tomorrow night:)

Natalie, He told me to keep doing exercises with it, to not give up! I have been doing it for 6 months now with it. Can't hurt? lol Its just been in the past week its being going deads tons! I will call you as soon as I know. Oh and I love crossfit too!!!
Strong work everybody! Sounds like everybody had a good night. I did a made up WOD at the college tonight with the students. We divided up into teams of five with three stations. One was 45# thrusters, a wall ball (10# balls, all we have down there), and a tire drag of 300 feet with 60#s of dumbbells thrown in there for extra weight. So I'm guessing around 100# total for the tire. One team did the drag, with the other 4 team members doing sit ups while waiting. The other teams did wall balls and thrusters until the tire drag team finished and everybody would rotate. Was gonna do three rounds but only did 2 since everybody (including myself) was dying. It really sucked to say the least. Don't know if I wanna make up any more WODs if I come up with pain like that.
Nice job on the shoulder presses Mandy. Tessa- sweet job on Nate. I really got to get my muscle ups consistent so I can do it as rx'd.
Justin- Hang in there and don't get down on yourself. Some days just go better than others, and like Nat said some just go worse. And I don't believe the whole weight throwing thing, I know how Mandy and Tessa like to exaggerate things! ;)
