Okay so I am getting ready for work and thought I would post now since I won't be home until 12:30am. I did the Deatd lifts. "Love Them" 115, 135, 145, 155, 165. Thanks Natalie and Jason for being there. Tessa you rocked too!! And I hate to say it but I cannot remember her name. She was doing them as I was leaving and she did great too! Gotta Love Crossfit!

Everyone really did great this morning with heavy deadlifts. No injuries! We really worked on mechanics with everyone and I saw some real improvement. We all can improve with those mechanics. I saw some really heavy weight and a lot of P.R.s this morning. I can't wait for the night class.

I don't think we have ever had any injuries with deadlifts anyway. One reason is because all of you really listen and want to do lifts right and with correct form. As you all see, it pays off because you all did so well today. Even PR's! Nice job! Form is everything.

No PR for me this morning. Only got up to 265 because my form was breaking down, but a huge improvement on form for me. Gonna have to work on my form a few times a week so i can set the weight down properly, because i learned today form is just as important when you are setting the weight down as it is when you are lifting it up.

You still did great Rockey. Now that you're doing Crossfit in a CF gym we will being working on your form for a while before we let you lift heavy, increase intensity, etc. You may go down on weight on some lifts, and your times on wods might go down as you learn correct form. FORM, FORM, FORM! It all begins with proper form!
Example:
It's better to have a 15 min Fran time doing it with lower weight( or RX) and have good form then have a 5 minute Fran time with terrible looking thrusters and pull ups where the chin doesn't go over the bar. It only cheats yourself out of getting the most benefit from the movement and sets yourself up for injury.
Anyway...long post. I just want to really stress to everyone how important form is over a fast wod time or a heavy lift.
Keep up the good work everyone!
