Make-up Day
or
Rest Day

Tessa went down to the fire academy with Will and got a little taste of fighting fires. We hear that she did awesome. Way to go Tessa! Crossfit women rock!

**Please remember to check the schedule weekly, even daily for class times. **
We try to make them consistent but they do vary from day to day, and week to week. If a class time is cancelled or changed from what was posted earlier in the week, we will post it on the daily blog.

The only bad thing about that picture is the yellow engine. Who paints engines or trucks yellow. I'm embarrassed that we have a fairy yellow engine at the college. I feel bad for anybody that has to ride in a yellow rig! :)

Oh come on! The yellow engine is cool... :)
Today should have been a rest day for me, but since I'm a die hard I decided to go in and work on some lifts (ha ha, just kidding about the die hard thing - kinda:) Jason was very helpful. I love the one on one training - we're pretty lucky at our gym! He helped me on my form on both the Snatch and Squat Clean. I got 2 PR's today... which wasn't hard to do considering I've never done a Snatch max and it's been a really long time since I did a squat clean max...
Snatch - 75# (this lift is a hard one - very mental for me!)
Squat Clean - 115# (Should have gone up but I was nervous about failing... read on:)
It was kind of nerve racking cause David Chu (sp?) walked in right toward the end of me doing my squat cleans! I luckily got it up with him watching... whew! He had some good input for me... which will hopefully help me get my weight up on most of the lifts! Pretty cool!
Mandy... I hope you get feeling better :)
Nat... I hope you get feeling better too - get some sleep... nice work on a PR on squat cleans this AM!

I'm disappointed in all the Orem guys. Don't you guys all run in yellow rigs. Not a word defending yourselves or even telling me that I'm a tool. I'm hoping I'm wrong and you guys don't have yellow rigs, that way I don't have to be saddened by your lack of caring. Sigh, this will probably never be read anyways. At least the shame doesn't have to be public I guess.
