Ran a 5k this morning.
Then started in on the Squat cleans 1 rep max...
1-1-1-1-1-1-1:
135/155/185/205..and had to stop ran out of time.
Gotta say the run left me feeling real light headed on the squat cleans. I might be able to do it over again tnite.

Squat cleans:1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1

Hit PR at 155, with several failures. Felt strong today though.

Tills you are an animal!

Saw this vid on the main site. These are the heroes I think of when I find my brain making excuses for me.

I did Fran today! 65# thrusters and gray band pullups! 65# was a pr for me on Fran. Now if I get those pull ups I can say it was RX. lol Oh and time 17:04. I wish my wrist did not hurt so bad, because the weight was good. It is just those dang wrists! Tessa and Phil did todays WOD. They kicked butt! I would have died. Or should I say "Goat"? I have been trying to think of goats for me. And there are so many. Running, Burpees, Wall Balls!! HATE RUNNING! Dang goat! lol

Did todays WOD... and it was a killer! The double unders were a rest... SQUAT CLEANS... WOW! I did the weight as rx'd which for women was 95# and I was pretty stoked about that. It was my first time doing that much weight with squat cleans EVER! I felt pretty strong but 45 in a row was just tough. So, todays WOD rx'd; time: 32:41. Getting that full squat and then pushin that weight up was rough. I felt light headed after every one and only did them one at a time... but I did it and that's the cool thing, I think! Just goes to show that working hard pays off, even though my times aren't the best, my weight is going up on most things and I am starting to focus more on doing the movements correctly rather then see how fast I can get through the WOD. Triceps are startin to feel it from the ring dips! Thanks Jason and Steve for helping me with my form on the squat cleans!
Phil and Mandy did awesome. I could tell Phil's shoulder was giving him grief but he kept on pushing. Mandy girl! Way to go on doing the weight rx'd! That's a huge milestone, be proud of it!
See ya'll tomorrow AM for another brutal attack :)
