It's officially official.. Tessa is an RN! WAHOO!!! :) Since I can't come in Saturday we'll have to do a celebration WOD next week (according to Will)... it's been a long time in waiting so I'm pretty freakin excited! Thanks for all your support everybody! I love my Crossfit family. :)
Mandy I'm so excited for you and hope it all works out ;)

Dave was training today so I came in and actually just did the WOD. Crossfit warm-up. Did deadlifts 3X5 three reps five rounds. I did today's WOD with Phill. It was a lot of fun to do a WOD with someone else. Doing it with someone else really pushes you. Also having someone coach you, or keep you honest really helps.

I got 10 rounds 5 handstand push-ups. The L-pull ups were by far the hardest part of the WOD.

Congratulation Tessa and good luck Mandy. Everyone come tomorrow no donuts I promise.

First off congratulations to Mandy and Tessa for the new job and for passing the boards. Awesome for both of you!
Was going to do todays wod but the HSPU are still a little much for the shoulder so Dave suggested or rather forced "Jackie" on me. Holy freaking hell! If Katie hadn't been in the gym the curses would have been flying.
I have NEVER felt so much pain after a wod. Usually I can walk to a box and at least sit down, even after Fran. Tonight I literally couldn't make it two feet to the closest box. I fell straight to the ground and just laid there. I tried layin on my back, on all fours, on my knees head on the ground and the fetal position. Nothing helped. I was miserable for about five minutes. Lungs were burning, hands were cramping, legs were cramping and it felt like I had a pool of blood in my throat.
Felt like I couldn't even breathe. If I would have had enough strength I would have yelled at Dave and Katie to get out of the garage door opening cuz they were blocking the oxygen from getting into the gym. So after reading this heart rending story you would think my time was around 8 minutes or so. More like 11:02. I have no idea how Dave busted out a 9:06 right after me and was still able to walk and talk right after and Jason had an 8 something time. Amazing!
I'm glad Dave and Blake were there to yell at me because I had thoughts of quitting halfway through the thrusters. On the plus side I started before Blake so I was able to watch him suffer through the last half of todays wod. Everybody knows it makes you feel better to watch someone else suffering. Strong work today copper! Man I think this is longer than a Tessa post or as I like to call her now "Goldilocks the Golden Child". Love me some CrossFit!

Oh one more thing. Welcome to all the new folks. I haven't met any of you yet but you'll know who I am when you see me. I'm kind of a big thing around here. Yep, I'm pretty cool! ;)

Will...you are going to scare all the new people with a post like that!!!!!! (Jackie does suck though). It's weird how some wods really effect you more than others, or differently than it does other people. Good job though...that's a great time! But just so you know....all the new people did Jackie too. ;)

Nat- I agree with you on how different wods affect you. I wouldn't have guessed Jackie would be that hard on me. She is now my new nemesis. To all the new folks, I'm just a wuss hence the hardship for me. No need for any of you to worry. Keep in mind that my being a wuss doesn't mean my previous post is null and void, I'm still pretty cool.
