Mandy has been making some great strides here at Viking Crossfit. She has been consistent in coming to the gym 4-5 days a week and has made incredible progress. Way to go Mandy!

Yeah Mandy has been kicking butt. It's been awesome to see the progress she has made. I'm really proud of her!
On another note I wanna thank everybody at the wod last night that was cheering everybody on. It was good to hear Blake, Jason and Robbie yelling at everybody. If you haven't noticed Mandy can vouch for it that I've been a doing alot of pouting because of the limitations that my shoulder has imposed on me. As a result, after the wod last night I was doing some more pouting. Thanks to Mandy, Tessa and Jason for basically telling me to stop worrying about it. I know it didn't make much of an effect last night (who wants to stop a good pout) but after doing some thinking about their input I decided I was pretty lucky to do FGB as rxd after getting injured. So I'm pretty happy with the result. I guess I'm high maintenance. I'm looking forward to doing more wods with the group as the shoulder gets better over the next couple months. Thanks again everybody for the encouragement, the last month and a half has been an uphill battle for me mentally so it does me good to get into the gym and have you guys around to bring me back to reality. Thanks. This is the last warm and fuzzy post I'll write for a long time, it makes me feel all yucky inside.
You're a BA Mandy!

I'm gonna have to agree with Will, Mandy you're a BA!!
Will, I know you've been bummed about the shoulder, and I can only imagine how I would feel in your situation. So, the only words of advice I can give you right now... GET OFF THE POUTY MOBILE cause you have been doing awesome. ;) Most people in your situtaion would just give up or take a really long break until they felt they were healed, but you've been taking the right steps and it makes me shake in my boots knowing where you'll be in a few short weeks once the shoulder is feeling better. You better mentally prepare yourself cause I'm gonna be right on your tail! You're awesome!
Well enough of that mushy gushy...
Today I did the WOD posted after doing some DL for a warm up, only did 35# on the hang power snatches cause Jason wanted my intensity to be really high and also be able to do most of it without stopping... time of 5:40. It was crazy, cause it wasn't the weight at all but the fact that I didn't ever have a chance to catch my breath and my traps were KILLING after locking out at the top of each snatch. Not only did my traps hurt, but trying to keep my form good through the whole thing was hard, that snatch is a technical lift... more so than you'd think. All in all it was a GREAT WOD. I was smoked after! Thanks Jason and Nat for being great coaches! See you all on Saturday.

Crazy times I hear on this wod. all from the ladies. I went with 45# and got a time of 6:52. Only took 10 seconds TOPS worth of breaks the whole time and that was to re-grip the bar. That's a crazy time Tessa. I couldn't go any faster my form was going. Wasn't getting a good hard lock out on the snatch, the shoulder made it hard. Think that might have been part of my form problem. Good job ladies!

Aww, shucks!! Thank you guys!! I love Crossfit and am so glad I have stuck with it. My confidence has gone up so much. I even sent my first pic to my dad today and he was amazed! He said I looked awesome! And believe me when I say, to hear that was amazing in itself from him. Will I am glad you feel better about things. I can understand your feelings. I only hope I never get hurt. Because I am not as tough mentally as you and I think I would be the one taking the long break. lol Tessa, thanks for always pushing me and thanks for bringing me a non zone pepsi to work today. It was sooo needed. You rocked on your WOD. I don't know how you did it! And to be the only one with Jason being right there next to you making sure you had correct form, count, and intensity. Wow that is awesome in itself. lol No offense Jason but you are always right on us and that is a excellent thing. Because that is what crossfit is all about. :) Will called and told me his and he rocked to! I will let him post time etc. Okay I am done with the sappy stuff to!
As far as me, I did the WOD of the day. I actually really loved this WOD. I only did #25 lb Hang Power Snatches and ab mat sit up. I kept going non stop(which is unusual for me. Was trying really hard to keep that intensity that Jason wanted and to think about form. This was my first time doing snatches. I would love to do this again in a couple weeks with more wieght. And would love to practice GHD in my warm ups. I think I am ready for them. Oh and my time was 4:35! I am done with my book now. Have to go feed my kiddos. Excuse and typeo's and wrong spellings don't have time to correct them. muahhhhh!

Had good class there this morning Sweed, Russ, and Sergio. Had a lot of fun with those guys. they are a good group. They all did well.

Tessa came in the morning and she did great I like to see these WOD's work people. Sarah also came in at 10:30. It was her first day and she is so determined and ready to work hard. Perfect attitude for a Crossfitter.

Mandy and Brooke came in tonight and finished the WOD in 4 or 5 minutes. Brooke you need to post.

I did Helen which will be coming up next week for everyone. 8:31

I made my meager contribution to the FGB WOD; 262 I think. PR for me but pales next to the great scores I saw on the board this am.

Mandy: What I would add to the many accolades you've received, is that no one suffers like you. I always see the look of complete exhaustion as you do the workouts. 100% effort is what I see, every time. Your gains show it's worth it.

Jason, my heart just broke a little bit. The small amount of red ink I have in the board, just got smaller. Awesome time on Helen--WOW!
