Nice job Brett! Brett is new at the gym and has already been making great progress. He has a really cool blog and wrote an awesome (and hilarious) article on his thoughts about Crossfit and our gym. I will be hitting Crossfit Las Vegas Monday morning for a drop in WOD before coming home. I decided to take a week off because i haven't been recoverong very quickly and had been training 6 days a week sometimes twice a day for almost 6 months. So a week off all the non Zone/Paleo food I can eat and then back at it. Have fun and work hard.

Did the posted wod for the day. Time of 3:58. I thought my thighs were gonna explode. Box jumps and med ball cleans is an ugly combination. Friggin thighs were doing a weird cramping make me cry thing for an easy 15 minutes afterwards. Nice job on the thruster wod Tessa. Pretty sweet time. Thanks to Dave for pushing us.

Just saw a pretty inspirational video about CrossFit...men doing the workouts who don't have arms or legs. If they can do it, so can I, by damn. See you tonight!

Well, I did the Thrusters and Knees to Elbows Wod today...
5 Rds
5 Thrusters (85#)
10 Knees 2 Elbows
Time: 6:57
I did toes to fingers for some, knees to forearms for some and by the end was pretty much doing knees to elbows! The rx'd weight for women on thrusters was 95#... yeah, pretty sure that 85# was FREAKIN HEAVY! I was able to do all 5 without dropping the weight, but any more than that and I would've been toast! I had to break my knees to elbows up into 2 sets of 5 for most of the WOD. My abs were on fire! Good WOD though :) Will smoked today's WOD and I hear Sergio did awesome too!... Jason I'm glad we didn't do Med ball cleans... LOL! Mandy I hope your abs are feeling better :) It was good to see Sweed this AM too! Also nice to meet Mike this AM... and good to see Sarah! Thanks Dave for pushin us! We'll see ya'll in the AM!!!
