I forgot to mention that Paula, a friend of mine from work came in yesterday and did great on her very first day!!! It was great to have you yesterday Paula! I will let Erick know you will be in Wednesday early in the am. (Now you have to show up because I posted it and everyone has read it ....hahahaha. j/k) You will have fun!
First time doing two days back to back. Jason let me in even though I showed up at 6:30. Four swinging pullups in a row during the warmup (don't kid yourselves; this is big news). Managed to complete the whole WOD thanks to Mandy's cheer routine.
Did todays workout!! Man I have come back to two hard work outs. lol But boy it felt gooooood!!! I had to do single jump ropes. So it ended up being 400. Then my weight I did was 55#. Everyone kicked some crossfit butt!! And Marty I know how it feels to have someone cheer you on. When you are at your hardest moment and someone says you can do it, it helps you through it. And it helps push you harder. I love being the cheer leader!! p.s. what happened to the crowd we had last night?
We had a good day today. Not as many people as usual, but everyone did really well. I did the WOD today and got a huge headache after my first 30 double unders. It felt like my left eye was going to pop out of my head. I hate whining during a WOD or after it always sounds like an excuse. Anywho, I finished in 10:30 something. It kicked my butt. I haven't done double unders in a while need more practice. Like I need more practice with hspu, muscle-ups, and a hundred other things. The power cleans were done with 95 and they actually didn't feel to bad. Have a good one everyone.
Has anyone else ever had a migrane in the middle of the WOD? This was a first for me.
I heard everyone did great today! Mandy is the best to have next to you during a wod, she cheers you on and won't let you quit. You're the best Mandy! Sweetie, I have got a huge headache doing GHD sit-ups and DU before. It feels like your head is going to explode with each rep. or each jump. I think they are exertional headaches. Luckily it doesn't happen too often, the GHD sit-ups always mess me up though...they always make me dizzy and feel just crappy after I do them.
Oh thank goodness. thats how I felt Yesterday. When I left My head was killing me and got progressivly worse through out the night. So I popped a few Motrin and hit the hay. See ya tomarrow Morning...
