I had to work today so I talked one of the guys on shift into doing a WOD with me. I had to tone it down so I could get him to do it again. I will modify the WOD and we will be doing it later this week or next. We did 25 burbees 25 wallballs. Basically we did a burbee and then a wallball. It was a lot of fun I thought. If our gym does it I think we will either do three rounds or 50 and 50 for time. I haven't decided yet. Headache started to come back a little bit today.
I went to Wingers for lunch today. Zone friendly salad with Wingers sticky fingers. Man that was good. Then I had an unzone friendly Dr. Pepper. I am a little disappointed in myself for that. I need more peer pressure to stay away from the pop.
Jason, first of all...what is a burbee? :) Next, why am I not surprised you went to Winger's today after last night (ha ha). That wod sounds like a good one. I have been stuck here at home the past 2 days while contractors are coming in and out to work on the basement. Ugh! I am having wod withdrawals!!!! And this snow sucks!
To make things worse...Matt and Angie just texted me from HAWAII and they just did 100 push-ups and 100 SU wod we programmed for them while on vacation. They probably did it in their swimsuits looking all hot and stuff on the beach under the warm sun. :) Great job you two! That's awesome! I want some sun!
Anyone planning on coming to the 5:00pm or 6:00pm tonight? I'm not canceling the classes, just wondering if anyone is planning on showing up. We had a poor showing this morning. -Dave
Well.... I was a slacker tonight. Today I guess ended up being my rest day. I was sooooo tired. And at my training I kept dosing off. So when I came home I got in my bed and fell asleep. 2 hours later it was 6:03. ooops!! Wish I would have came though. Hope everyone that came did great!!!
Um...I personally think I look chubby...but I guess feeling strong on the inside is what matters most right? If I see Natalie with the camera again....well let's just say: sarah's "strong" fist + camera = broken.
My calf muscles are killing me from doing the jump ropes yesterday. My muscles have never hurt that bad before. The WOD was awesome though. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Thanks everyone for making me feel so welcome. Viking Crossfit rules!!!
