Finished in 31:something this morning. Was going real strong on pullups at 37 my left hand tore again and had to do jumping for the last 63. Still had plenty of strength to keep going but the hands wouldn't last. Had to breakdown to knee pushups around 45, but pushed through and finished everything else up. Really fun workout, looking forward to doing it again and improving my time and pullup/pushup numbers.

Anyone have tips on keeping your hands from ripping. 37 pullups seems kinda low for my hands to be giving out in the form of tears. I had the strength to keep going, heck the rep i ripped on i nailed my sternum to the bar. The only thing keeping me back is my kipping rhythm and my hands ripping prematurely. Any advice is appreciated.

Aaron doesn't post much yet but i have to say his performance was inpiring. He finished in 44:something, pushed hard and finished when he felt like giving up. He is gonna be a beast.

Rockey, I have a couple articles on hand care and how to tape your hands. I will email them to you or post them on the blog soon. Nice work today you two! I heard Sergio, Matt and Brett did great this am too!

Thanks Natalie.

On a side note I went to the doctor today and got weighed before my appointment. I was at 235# which means i have lost 100# since around last September. The fun part is that i have no idea where i started because when i first weighed myself i had been dieting for almost two months and had been doing the globo thing for a few weeks.

So since i started Crossfit last September i have lost 100# and my bodyfat is down to 20%. :D

Well we had a great class at 6:15. We had a big group and it was a tough WOD. I will tell you the truth I didn't want to do a WOD today because I was so spent after yesterdays WOD, but I was so inspired by the athletes today that I knew I had to do it. There is definitely a feeling of family that is built through suffering together. Thanks everyone for pushing me.

I agree tonights WOD was a killer but yet so much fun!! I did knee pushups and jumping pullups. I did do the 100 reps of each. On Dec. 29 I did the same exact thing at 29:53. Today I did it at 18:52. I took eleven minutes and 1 second off my time since Decemeber. Woohoo! I still can't wait to do real pullups. I am wokring on them. Everyone kicked some major butts today on times. I loved comparing them to see what peoples times were before. Will and I won't be able to come tomorrow because of the graduation at the academy. So I will see everyone Thursday. Kick some butt everyone! Woop! Woop!!
