haha...funny pic. I was browsing through some old pics and found this one and just had to post it. Have a great workout today everyone!
I love this picture. Good times with some hot boys! Well, I like one of them.
today's wod was awesome! I totally didn't think I was going to make it and that was during round 2! I think I'm definately going to feel it tonight. Good luck everyone
I'm so exhausted!!! It's an effort to say good morning to my co-workers :)I showed them what we did and that took too much out of me. Great wod, really.
Jennifer I am glad you liked the WOD. Sometimes it is difficult to program but I thought this would be a good one. I really enjoyed it too. It was tough. Especially when Erick does the 135# weight I feel like I need to do it too. That was heavy. The wallballs were tough but it wast he ten clean and jerk that were the hardest by far.

I was wondering where the best place to buy lifting shoes is??
You already own them, your feet (ask Eric) :)
Kevin if you want to get squat shoes i.e. olympic weightlifting shoes get on to VS athletics.com I think that is the website. My shoes were like 80 bucks plus shipping. They are great and provide a lot of stability.
I used to think that erick's goal was to get me to barf during workout. After today, I decided his goal is to make me cry!! :):) haha but seriously, I was pretty sure during the second round there was no way I was gonna make it! Then he made me keep going. During the third round I knew for sure I couldn't do it. I thought erick knew it too!! But then he made me keep going. He got me through the 4th round and that's when I knew if I had made it this far, I wasn't going to quit then! My last set of wall balls, I don't think I even rested! If it wasn't for erick I would have walked away feeling kind of crappy about myself. But instead I feel triumphant!! I love that feeling! That's what's addicting about crossfit!
Kate, are you working today? I am happy for you seriously!!! Today was the first time we really had to hunker down and get through the WOD. You did great, I could tell you had it in you cause your form wasn't deminishing. It is hard to keep going when we have conditioned ourselves to stop when we break a sweat in a gym. I still struggle with that every WOD. What it comes down to is, either YOU can't or YOU won't. Either way you will have to live with the YOUR decision. But isn't it amazing when you decide you can!!! especcially after sharing your pain with others.
Jason, way to go man, it must have been the shoes!! 135# gets to ya dudnit
Kevin, I like to do my lifts in barefeet as you may already know but that's because I am cheap. Those that I know who use the weight lifting shoes really enjoy them.
See you cats tomorrow
Kate and Jenn, I think now you know what I meant when I told you I get nervous before every WOD. Its because you know how much you will push yourself or how much someone else will push you. It seriously is a mental game. It is empowering.
Thanks Jason :)
Today's workout was definitely mentally challenging! After round two, I was cursing Jason again for his programming. :) But, like Kate said, it was so victorious to finish! Plus, I kept thinking about Erick and Jason's time and that pushed me too. Time: 15:23. Great job everyone that did the wod today!
P.S...hey no one has commented on the funny video! I want to see some dancing like that after wods. I can totally see Jason and Erick dancing like that. hehehehe
I am soooo doing that victory dance. It's about time everyone comments. lol It was getting to quiet on here.
