Blake with his Orem PD K-9. Now that's a cool picture!

We are starting a Women's only "Jump-start" Class in June. It will be three days a week for 4 weeks of women only classes. It is like a boot-camp, but motivating, not intimidating. If you have friends or family who may be interested in Crossfit, but are a little nervous about trying it out, please let them know about this opportunity. It is a good way to be introduced to Crossfit in a slower paced class. It's time to get working on that summer body ladies! It's not too late!

We had some great classes this morning. Everyone did really well. Eric our newest member picked up on push-jerks really well. Sarah pushed herself through the full 20 minutes and still had a smile at the end. Sergio crushed his last score putting up more rounds and doing more work; doing green band pull-ups instead of ring rows. Matt and Angie put in a solid performance. Matt doing all his pull-ups rx and Angie doing grey band pull-ups. I had a lot of fun this morning.

Natalie was super impressive with a score of 15 rounds 5 pull-ups and 3 push-ups. Those were not knee push-ups. The pull-ups were legite pull-ups also. Awesome job Natalie.

I am going to try and do it tonight. After watching Eric do 19 rounds and Nat do 15 I am afraid very afraid.

We had a great class in the early morning as well. Jennifer and Kate are starting to catch on to my meaning of fun and it's adverse effects on their physical stamina. I believe Kate's quote was "you got me to sweat, I don't usually do that." Congratulations Kate, sweating in your second week of crossfit! Only one of the successes you will be experiencing this year. Now we need to get Jennifer to break a sweat while doing her 7 rounds in 10 minutes!!

We also enjoyed Paula's and Camie's company. They have always thought I was sadistic and rarely trust me when I say the WOD is fun.

Eric, great job today with the push jerks, those are difficult to master.

I knew I should have stayed to watch C-4 blow the WOD out of the water. Great Job!

I was pleased to have beat my last score by 3 rounds. I have worked on my push ups a lot lately waiting for this WOD.

Go Hard and Hydrate at will.

Great job this am everyone! Everyone is really pushing themselves on this wod, which is no surprise because you all push yourselves hard everyday and are getting great results from your determination and dedication. You all rock! The 0600 class is rockin' now...nice job ladies! (and you too Erick :) )

I'm happy I got a PR today. Those dang push-ups!!!! They just slow me down so much. Gotta love Cindy though.
