We have a lot of runners here at Viking, I think we could win this and bring home a new rower for our gym! And so what if we don't win....let's do a 5K together!

Dave if you want to come in we can substitute deadlifts for a different lift or exercise.

Well I did "Angie" yesterday and it put me out of service for a couple of hours. I am tired today. I am really looking forward to doing today's WOD.

Jason-I appreciate the thought. I was able to do about 50 warm up reps with lighter weight and completed 20 rounds at 155lbs.
My back is feeling really close to 100%. So, CrossFit has allowed me to heal faster than I have in the past.

On another note, my cousin called me last night to thank me for introducing him to CrossFit. He's been a little over weight for the past few years. His problem is that he doesn't enjoy the monotony of being a gym rat, but knew that he needed to do something. So I told him about all the benefits and my enjoyment of the whole fitness concept. He started about 3 weeks ago and says he has a lot more energy and has started eating a lot more healthy. I'm all for introducing people to CrossFit, but it's really nice when it's family and you know their health and happiness will be better because of it.
As a side note, I told him to get in good enough shape to climb Rainier with me in June of next year.

I still have the sore throat today and no energy. I'm glad it's not the flu. Sorry I missed coming yesterday I really wanted to come but I needed the rest so I could be better for the weekend. I have a lot going this weekend and can't be sick for it. I won't make it to the gym today or tomorrow. :(

Sorry to hear that Melanie get better as soon as possible. We want to see you and Mandy back.

Dave that is awesome to hear. I have also noticed much quicker healing times with Crossfit. Also that is great to hear about your cousin. Hopefully he will be ready for Rainer in June.

Ok did the WOD and it was tough. I did 8 rounds. 235# deadlifts handstand pushups to the floor. I don't think my back could have sustained another round too tired. Everyone kicked my butt in rounds.
