"Fight Gone Bad!"

Three rounds of:
Wall-ball, 20 pound ball, 10/8 ft target (Reps)
Sumo deadlift high-pull, 75/45-55 pounds (Reps)
Box Jump, 20" box (Reps)
Push-press, 75/45-55 pounds (Reps)

In this workout you move from each of five stations after a minute. The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating. On call of "rotate", the athletes must move to next station immediately for best score. One point is given for each rep, except on the rower where each calorie is one point.

I couldn't resist posting this picture! (See Sunday's comments) :)

Our Sweatshirts have been on back order but they should be done this week. The XS are still on back order, sorry. But they should be in soon too. They are going to look awesome.

I'm loving the Pero too. It's a great warm yummy drink. I think I'm going to try sugar-free coffee creamers in it sometime. :) Erick and Cami say the coffee creamers are really good in vanilla smoothies.

I had some way yummy salmon this weekend. I got it at Sunflower Market. It had the skin on, which I was a little leery of, but it actually turned out fabulous. My kids wouldn't stop eating it. Here's the recipe.

Blackened Salmon

Mix:
1 1/2 tsp. paprika
2 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. cayan pepper
3/4 tsp. white pepper
1 1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. thyme leaves
1 tsp. oregano leaves

Spray griddle/frying pan with Pam and heat on high for several minutes. Dip fish (red side down) in seasoning. Remove just enough seasoning to pie plate so you don't contaminate your batch. (This recipe will last you a while.) Cook spice side down first until black (about 3 - 5 minutes) then turn over and turn down heat. I covered at this point and let it heat through til done - maybe another 5 minutes.

I served with asparagas and "Salad on the Wild Side"

Ok, here's the recipe for the salad....

Toss:
1 cup California wild rice (Cook in 3 times amount of water covered about 33 minutes in microwave.) It stinks. Cool
cucumbers, finely diced
celery, finely diced
purple onion, finely sliced
Orange and red peppers, finely diced
few slivered almonds
grapes
mandarin oranges
freshly ground peppercorns

Dressing:
Olive oil
Kozlowski Farms Red Raspberry Vinegar

I used this same dressing on a salad earlier in the week, which I thought was pretty tasty - a good flavor combination.

baby spinach
red onion
pear
few almonds

Dresssing:
olive oil
Kozlowski Farms red raspberry vinegar.

Hope this can help someone...

Oh yeah, another treat I liked (3 blocks)

Mix:
1 cup Mountain High plain yogurt
1/8 tsp. Stevia

Add:
1/4 cup cottage cheese
1 cup sliced strawberries
9 chopped almonds atop

A bit windy. Loves, Lina

Thanks Lina...can't wait to try the recipes!!!

How is everyone doing and feeling on the Zone????
Are you seeing weight loss? Better sleep? More energy?

I made it into the gym this am and it looked like everyone did great on FBB. I saw some PR's too.
For all the ladies....we have done FGB with 45# and 55#, so check your folders to see what weight you did last time. See some of you tonight.

I had a great time with today's wod! I upped my weight, but lowered my score. I was ok with that though because I was able to stay consistent with my number of reps each round. I can't wait to do this one again!
