We don't do scheduled rest days very often but Cody and Erick are out of town, Jason is at the Firestation, Steve is at work at the hospital and I have training at the hospital. So take advantage of this day and rest everyone....or run a 5k!
I am going to enjoy this rest day. I am so sore everywhere. What a great week of workouts. The zone has been good to me I have lost 3 pounds. I even had bunco last night and didn't eat any of the yummy junk food.
Hey Natalie, totally understand the rest day. I just love coming in. VCF is my second home and love to see everybody. And you all are like a extended family.
So I was going to do the 5k, but a friend at work begged me to do the Main Site WOD. Talk about a funny sight.
3 Rounds: 100 feet walking on hands 2 minutes holding a handstand position 15 HSPUs
I had to do the last 2 rounds of bear crawl cause I couldn't get up to walk on my hands. Not to mention everyone gave us funky looks.
Oh Wade, I want to do that wod on Saturday for our group wod! I think it looks like so much fun, I can't wait to do it myself, I love handstands. I have a couple ideas for Saturday though. And I have to agree with you...we have an amazing group of people at the gym and I consider you all my extended family too! We've become a tight-knit community and I really enjoy training and getting to know all of you. :)

Everyone, don't worry if you haven't lost weight yet, just stick with it. Headaches, fatigue and hunger are all normal to feel the first week, I promise it's gets better!
