WOD:
30 wall balls (unbroken)
50 jumping pullups (unbroken)
25 burpees

Every time you stop on your wall balls, it adds 10 burpees to your total at the end. You have 5 seconds to switch from wall balls to jumping pull ups. If you take longer than 5 seconds to get started on jumping pull ups, it adds 10 burpees to the end of the workout. Every time you stop on your jumping pull ups, it adds 10 burpees. This workout is easy... just don't break up your wall balls or jumping pull ups and you will be fine.

Just one round, or more?

If you can do this wod all the way through without stopping then you will be on the floor after because you will have to be going fast. Yes. One round.

I'm afraid I'll be missing out tomorrow. Pinched the old back nerves trying to do the deadlifts too fast and without good form. That will teach me. Hopefully a fast recovery and return on Thursday...

Someone else will have to feel Erick's wrath in the 6 am class for a few days.

I think I am going to consider the word "unbroken" the same as some of those four letter words that we shouldn't say.

This is going to be fun... NOT!!!

Wade

P.S. - Thanks Jason for kicking my butt on the double WOD today. And I sent you the video of your turkish get up.

Ok I did the WOD this morning, 2:50 rx. It is just what I needed and wanted. You don't realize until after that it really kicks your butt. I was coughing for about twenty minutes after. My lungs are burning.

So everyone think of this as a sprint and try and finish as fast as you can. No slowing down. It is a gut check.

I'm going with Jason on this. It was very quick and possible to go straight through it. That after workout cough is visiting me as well.

It was even more fun to see how many doubleunders I could do after the workout. Preston won with 36.

Almost Jason... almost. I got 2:56, and I don't remember feeling as lightheaded before as I did after that WOD.

Steve was saying he could see the pain on my face grow after each rep. I think after I got to 25 reps on the jumping pull ups I don't even remember the rest of the WOD.

2:45 -- for once in my CrossFit career, this is a time I'm truly proud of. I was a little behind the others in Will's 5 PM class when we hit the Burpees. I pushed to go faster and faster through them and that did it. I believe I did it as proscribed.

And yes my lungs are burning.

Wow, who knew a 3 min work out could suck so bad?!

Wow! I am so impressed with everyone today. Only a few people had to add burpee's to the end of their workout, everyone pushed so hard and did not stop. The burpee penalty was a great motivator for everyone. :) That was the point of the wod. We wanted everyone to push as hard as they could and be done under 5 minutes. Excellent job everyone!!!!
Thanks Jeremy for timing Steve and I today. I got 3:03. Loved it!?!? Jeremy, Jason and Clark...you guys really rocked it with sub 3 min times.

Great job to all the pm folks. As we used to say in the Corps they all did a great job of embracing the suck! Clark, excellent time with good ROM. Des was particularly motivating for me. At one point I told her to pick up the speed on her burpees. Holy smokes batman if she didn't take off like a little energizer bunny on crack and didn't slow down the rest of the time. I know somebody has motivated/inspired me when I feel like doing a wod all over again due to their performance.
For me the cool thing about training, either here or at the Fire Academy, is that every single time I train I can pick out an inspiring act by every single client. It can be an amazing time, awesome ROM, a great show of heart, or any number of things. When I do a wod on my own it can often be hard to give a 100% so I rely on the numbers you all post and your examples of intensity to push me. So on that note, if I don't mention you by name on the occasional posts I do, don't think I don't notice the effort you're giving, I do and it is truly appreciated.
That's more warm and fuzzy in a few minutes than I get in a full year. With that being said, EMBRACE THE SUCK PEOPLE! EMBRACE IT!!
