After taking last week off I was able to make it 5 days in a row this week. But, it took me all five days to feel even close to my previous normal levels of strength and endurance at my "pre-vacation" levels. Interesting how fast it can leave you. Of course, I'm 46 and it may be that I'm just getting "up there" and the rest of you whipper snappers can handle a week off. Not me. I'll never look forward to vacations the same way again. :0)
Thanks Natalie for the workout. Your "encouraging" style is a nice counter balance to all the other mean, abusive trainers at Viking. (Just kidding guys). Actually, it's the "team" atmosphere that keeps me coming back. Thanks everyone...

Well, I'm still not sure why today's wod was so hard for me. I'm either lazy or need a serious mental breakthrough. Probably both. I did my kipping pull ups, which took a lot of time, and I upped my weight on the ball cleans to the 14 lb ball. My time= 19:06. Thanks everyone for cheering me on towards the end.

Thanks Jim :) And great job today. Think of it this way...you could kick most young peoples butt in a wod if you brought them into the gym, even if they are somewhat athletic, because you are "Crossfit." Remember your first workout at Viking? You have come a long way and you are making new PR's all the time. Keep it up!

And hey...no more Mrs.Nice "guy" at the gym anymore...I can be mean too. :) I mean...>:(

Thanks Natalie for the great push today! I would have never done the green band in a WOD if you wouldn't have pushed me to do it. It feels great to move up on things.
