I signed up for the Firefighters 5K in Orem. Has anyone else yet?
Oh, Will, I am really glad you didnt become a cop either. You would constantly be teased for "getting in to a job to make up for your stature!!!" Ohhh...did i just post that one, I might regret that. I agree firemen have a better job by far. There are not many professions out there that allow you to get paid for sitting in lazy-boys around the big screen, and sleeping while on the job. I know, I know, but you guys maybe once or twice a year get an actual house fire and you get to suit up and go in....other then that I'm sure it is fun to go and help old people that have fallen and cant get up!!!!
So, when is Viking CrossFit signing up for the Affiliate Cup?

But seriously...that would be an awesome challenge! Cody, Jason, Angela and Will vs. Blake, Phill, Trent, John, and James. Since the Firefighters are outnumbered,they get to pick some military guys. :)
Why not let us military guys make our own team? Steve, Jeremy, Wade? Bring it on!
Or even better...Cops vs Firefighters vs Military!!!! That would be awesome! We would have to do it soon before Steve and Jeremy leave.
But I'd play for the Firefighters.

What about an old guys team? You know, someone to represent the chronically injured and sore? You all can do thrusters and burpees and we'll do stretching and sit ups. We get to pick one "ringer", though. We choose Natalie...

So the military hasn't talked smack so... The Military has better equipement, cool uniforms, get to go to fun and exciting places, and get paid to break things or blow them up.

Ok, I think I can settle this fireman vs. cops thing. I did both, each for seven years each. I think I have a good understanding of each job and what it involves. Let me give a few examples:
What is worse:
Police
Getting spit in the face by a juvenile or.....
Fire
a 20 year old vomiting blue Gatoraide on you after waking from and overdose....
Police
Chasing someone to the point they poop their pants ( I had to put two holes in the bottom of a garbage bag and put it on him like a diaper)or......
Fire
Having to clean the poo off of someone that lost bowl control (this is multiple time event)
Police
Having everyone lie to you (even when they don't need to).
Fire
Having someone fake a seizure to get out of giving a talk in church.
These are only a few examples.
So what is really better. I don't want to say any one is better that the other because they are like my children I love them both....oh wait a second....... ok, I am back I had to go watch the Jazz on the big screen in my recliner here at work. Anyway, I was saying I don't like one better than the other their both equal. Ok, I'm tired and I am going to go to my room here at work and go to bed while watching the Jazz game.

So I am seeing the future..... This whole thing taking place in the front of viking or maybe at a park. Putting flyers out for everyone to come check it out. Maybe future customers..... And then a bar-b-q after. Maybe invite other gyms to play. $$$$$$
