REST DAY

We are going to get a package together to send to James in Afghanistan. Jenn said some things he might like are chewing gum, a flashlight (has to be red or blue light) , notes, cards, or anything fun that might keep his mind off the stress there and make his day. We will have a box at the gym, I'm sure he would love to hear from all of you.

Good idea, I'll bring something in. On a side note I must be as sissy cuz my legs are still pretty sore. Going up stairs isn't bad going down sucks! So of course I'm at station 2 which is the only three level station in the City and you're constantly going up and down stairs. Did a 5K run yesterday to try and loosen things up. Helped for about an hour. Ugh. My foam roller is at home but frankly I'm scared to even try it.

I can't imagine what the chewing gum must be like in Afghanistan. Yak flavor maybe. Anyway, James we have gum coming your way. We miss you at the gym keep up the strong work.

I feel for all of you with sore legs. I hope they are recovered for this week. I have taken that into consideration with the programming though. So you should be able to recover.

Is anyone still sore. Are you ready for Tabata squats bottom to bottom on Monday? Just Kidding

I got Crystal Light packets. I am sure water gets boring after awhile. We use to send koolaid to Wills brother in russia and he loved it.

Yeah, my thighs are still screaming in pain from Thursday's wod. Yesterday I did an easy 50 mile bike ride in the hopes that it would work some of the soreness out. Didn't do a thing, it still hurts to go down stairs. Going to try the foam roller tonight, I will probably cry.
