Sergio is a bad dude. I tried to keep up with him a few weeks ago on a wod with back squats. Couldn't do it.

Greetings from Afghanistan! I received your gracious gift today, and I just wanted to let you know how gratefull I am for your thoughtfullness and friendship. I am trying to keep up with all the WODs but somedays I end up working 12-17hrs and most of that is on my feet walking. I have recruited 2 loyal CFers so far among the EOD guys here. Although, I lack the training and pleasant demeanor of Jason, Will, Cody and Natalie, I think they are getting the hang of it (slowly). Well I look forward to that Cops V. Fireman versus whoever else when I get back. Thanks again for all your kinds words and thoughtfull deeds.

On the subject of sugar....I work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in the hospital. For painful procedures on infants, we give infants oral "Sweetease" it's a sugar concentrate. We use it because it works on the same receptor sites as Morphine. It's great to have for medicinal use. But what is it doing in our body's in excessive amounts????? The article on the front page is worth reading.

Loved the article on sugar, someone finally says it like it truly is. I was really surprised at the comparisons it gave to Heroin, chemical addiction, etc. Wow.
I'm so sad there is no 6pm class.. Thats the only class I could go too today and i missed yesterday...
Natalie, I'm just sad Sweetease doesn't have the same effect on adults, if it did we would probably be drinking it by the bucketful on night shift :)

Did anyone do the CrossFit Endurance WOD for yesterday?
I just finished it. I'm pretty sure I won't be finding my lungs till sometime mid July. That was a horribly wild workout. I pushed .59 of a mile total distance. The tough part was at the 12th interval and I realized it was taking me almost 5 seconds to slow down for my 'rest'. I use the term lightly as it was just enough time to realize I didn't want to run again. It was fantastically fun!
