There's been a lot of 'I need to get bigger' talk from some guys who think size=strength. Cut and paste this. This guy is not very big (185?), no body builder physique here, but holy $#!% he puts up some big weights with good form. Check it out and get inspired to do great things.

Wow that wod was killer. I was so exhausted by the end. I love those workouts where you know you did something hard and you perservered. My time was 7 min, so I didn't beat my fran time but hey there is always next time.

I did one of the traveling wod's this morning. 50-40-30-20-10 walking lunges and push-ups. 10:21 Whew! It's a lot harder to do these wod's alone! Can't wait to get back! I talked to one of the trainers at the CF gym here this morning too. Going to try them out tomorrow and maybe Thursday. Since their website isn't up, they don't have their class times or wod's posted so I'm a little nervous. We'll see how it goes!

I did the WOD this morning too. Yes, it was a killer. I kind of expected it though. It was really good to have Natalie there to push me. I can't wait to see how everyone does tonight.

I did it at the rec center and used an 8# ball and did 40 wallballs instead of 20.

Sorry I won't be making it to the gym again tonight. Mandy and I signed up for a belly dancing class and it is on Tuesday nights. So good luck everyone tonight.

Belly dancing...how fun! I've always wanted to try that. Does anyone want to do a hip-hop class with me? Cami, we need to see if Ashley still has a womens hip-hop class. :)

Will said this was a great WOD. Sad I will be missing it. I still want to make that one up from Saturday. This class we signed up for is only 6 weeks long, once a week. Just something for fun. One of our friends talked us into it. But the deal was she had to come try Crossfit. And she said Okay. I have been trying to get her to come for a year. Good Luck everyone!!

Wooo! I finally dropped a few pounds. I've been either maintaining or gaining since I started. My clothes have been getting looser, but I still really was looking forward to the scale responding to my efforts as well.

Today's workout was great. I pushed myself, I finished, and I'm feeling good about it.

Ben, Congrats!! I bet you are happy. That is always a good feeling.
Natalie, As far as the UVU Rugby team thing it was quite fun to watch these big guys do a work out. At the end they loved it and hoped Will would come back. We are both in hopes that maybe with the exposure to it they would come to Vikings. We even wore our Viking jackets. The guys that went through the academy several months ago asked Will to come put the guys through a real work out! I do have to tell a funny story. I went to watch and there was this guy singing while working out. I could not help it but I said, "my trainer says if you are talking while working out you are not working hard enough". (and the coach was standing there) The look I got from that guy was the look of death. But at the end he came to me and said thanks for the push and laughed.
Also they compared this to the "U" and said they are probably just jogging for there workouts. That this was a real workout!! ha ha So fingers crossed hope to get them coming to Vikings!!!!
